Just imagine...
Spending years in confusion and self doubt, wondering what is wrong with you. Not realising that the people who claim to love you are actually the ones doing the most harm. When you turn to them for reassurance, they turn it back on you and say it's your fault... you then end up with a bunch of coping and survival strategies that may seem helpful at the time, but long term create more chaos. This is where you need a guiding light to show you the way, to help you make sense of the situation you find yourself in. And what better guide than someone who has made it through the maze, from the darkest despair, all the way out to the clear light of day... then trained as a therapist and come back to show the way!
WHAT IS THE CLARITY WITHIN COURSE?
The Clarity Within is a recovery programme created to support those who have experienced narcissistic abuse and are ready to begin finding their way back to themselves.
The first step is understanding what has happened to you.
Narcissistic abuse can be incredibly confusing. It is often subtle, gradual and difficult to recognise while you are living through it. You may find yourself questioning whether what you experienced was really abuse at all. You may wonder if you are being too sensitive, overreacting, or somehow responsible for the problems within the relationship.
You may be experiencing overwhelming guilt, confusion, anxiety and self-doubt. You may have lost confidence in your own judgement and find yourself constantly questioning your thoughts, feelings and memories.
And perhaps you have another question that feels almost impossible to ask:
“What if I'm wrong?”
You may even feel guilty for suspecting that someone you love, or once loved, could be narcissistic. You might worry about what they would think if they knew you were questioning their behaviour. You may have spent so much time trying to understand them, accommodate them and keep the peace that you have lost sight of yourself.
The Clarity Within begins by helping you make sense of these experiences.
Throughout the course, you will explore what narcissistic abuse is, how psychological and emotional abuse can work, the patterns and behaviours associated with it, and the impact these experiences can have on your thoughts, emotions, relationships and sense of self.
But this course isn't about staying focused on the person who hurt you.
It's about you.
It's about understanding what happened so that you can begin to release the confusion, rebuild your confidence and reconnect with the person you were before you became so focused on surviving.
You will be guided through practical exercises and therapeutic reflections designed to help you:
- understand narcissistic abuse and recognise unhealthy patterns
- understand why leaving or setting boundaries can feel so difficult
- work through guilt, shame and self-doubt
- rebuild your confidence and trust in yourself
- recognise and manage emotional triggers
- reconnect with your identity, values and authentic self
- develop healthier boundaries
- understand what healthy relationships can look and feel like
- recognise red flags and green flags in future relationships
- develop tools for emotional regulation and self-soothing
- strengthen your sense of self-worth
- create healthier patterns for the future
- develop strategies for maintaining your wellbeing and preventing a return to old patterns
Most importantly, The Clarity Within is about moving from simply surviving to consciously rebuilding your life.
You don't need to have all the answers before you begin.
You don't need to be completely certain that what happened to you was abuse.
You simply need to recognise that something hasn't felt right and be willing to explore what that might mean.
Clarity is the beginning.
Understanding creates choice.
And from choice, you can begin to find your way back to yourself.

How I got here
My path into therapy began through the study of Transpersonal Arts in Therapy. Before training as a therapist, I studied Fine Art where I became fascinated by creativity and how it allows people to express themselves beyond words. Now, I'm a coach/therapist working with clients online, providing a warm, supportive space where people can explore life's challenges, develop greater self awareness and move towards meaningful change.
My speciality is in helping victims of narcissistic abuse to start to live an authentic life without fear. I'm constantly developing my skills by taking classes or learning from other experts. As a registered therapist, you can find me on the BACP
